These are sad news but due the coronavirus pandemia still not under control and to ensure the safety of all our teachers and students. We, Swing Out West, have decided to cancel all classes and events for the time being.

Attention! Attention! On 7th December we are holding our annual Christmas party!
Some like it hot will play for us this night and we’ll also have DJ’s, brilliant attire, tons of fun and even dancing!
As previous year the party will be at King Charles the Martyr Church Hall (3 New St, Falmouth, TR11 3HX)
Ticket prices: £11 for early birds and £14 regular. Get tickets at classes or drop us a message to reserve one.

Amazing news! The talented Teri Long from Mad About Swing is going to teach solo jazz just before November’s tea party!!!
Grab your shoes and learn how to dance genuine 30s-style jazz steps. Don’t worry if you never have danced solo jazz before, all levels are welcomed!

Swing’n’Surf is on collision course towards us! And that means we, the teachers of Swing Out West are too busy to teach this week. We’re so sorry, but at least you have a full weekend of swing, beaches and fun!
We’re so sorry but the classes for 31st May are cancelled. But we’re back next week though!

Preparations for Swing’n’Surf Lindy Exchange are going well. We have bands, DJ’s, surfing and SUP lessons, beaches… And even attendees!
But we need more of one thing: Hosting. Our fellow dancers from Devon and beyond need some place to stay and enjoy the Cornish way of life. So, if you have a spare bedroom, an inflatable mattress in your living room… and you want to host a dancer, please, contact us at swingnsurf@gmail.com so we can make the arrangements.

It has been a while since our last entry, but we are kickin’ (and triple-steppin’) and alive!
On November the 26th will have our next tea party and wait for the Christmas party announcement! But that’s not all! 2018 will bring more classes, more tea parties, more dancing on the beach and more workshops!

Fancy dancing in Cornwall? On a beach? In a cave? Our ineffable Chris is organising an amazing beach party at the cave on Chapel Porth Beach on Saturday 21st August (12.30-3.30). So take off your dance shoes and join us for an afternoon of surf and swing. Bring a picnic and swimsuit!
